Inspired by the wealth of new music I have been introduced to since arriving here, I decided to make it official. Feel free to share your music tastes with your fellow members and discuss everything music related. Well, I must make a confession. I have been converted. I haven't joined the Vatican, or given up Sundays. I have joined the First Presleyterian Church of Elvis the Divine and embraced the sweet sound of country acid house gospel music. Ok, so for those who are reading this and wondering what I'm smoking I'll explain in English. Alabama 3. They're not from Alabama, there's not three of them (more like eight). They're genre is indefinable, they're not serious, or artsy, or even that professional. But damn they are good. You might have heard their song Woke Up This Morning (the theme from the Sopranos). They may act like cowboys, put on fake accents (the band was founded in Brixton, London), but they are a funky feel good band that you can't help but tap your feet to. Here's a selection of their songs www.youtube.com/watch?v=57ItXH51rOAwww.youtube.com/watch?v=fNslp-n6ZvY
