A place to post your views on the latest films you've seen, as well as the ones you plan on seeing.
The last film I saw was Che: Part 1 and 2. A really good account not only of the life of Argentian revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guerva, but of the life of the guerilla fighter. Benicio del Toro is perfect in the role and the film catches a balance between documentry realism and classic action and suspense. For fans of war films, history or communism, this one is a must see.
And I certainly intend to see quite a few later this year.
District 9 Inglorious Bastards The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus Thirst (take that Twishite) Avatar The Invention of Lying The Road
Feel free to recommend any films you've seen.

Avatar-I am not impressed with the trailer, and the plot has already been explained to me by Neknoh...
Basically, the only saving grace would have been the effects, but they aren't even impressive any more. Don't waste your cash.

Well I'm gonna see Avatar in Imax 3D just to be sure. But I never was good with money.
As for movies I will not speak off (i'm struggling just to type) is Twishite (funnily enough, not its real name). If you want vamires there are 3 films you must see. Cronos, Thirst (having seen it yet, but a Catholic Priest vampire has got to be a win, and I'm kind of obsessed with its director) and of course, the one everyone's talking about, Let the Right One In. If you're looking for a film of the disturbingly brilliant variety then I'd check it out pronto.
Oh and I just noticed that MSN's quoted my posted opinion of Schindler's List for one of their slightly pointless articles (the "peoples" top films of all time). Yeah.. coz I know my films.
